I need to program a schwinn fitness recumbent bike…?

the only buttons are reset, enter, recovery, start/stop, up, and down.

I’ve had a Schwinn 202 Recumbent Bike less than one year, used about a dozen times. The resistance is now not working. The gauge on the computer screen appears normal, showing the resistance going up and down but there is no actual change in resistance. It seems stuck on about a level 3. Is there something simple I could check myself or fix?
