Perfectly put! Not only do you have to invest a good 45 minutes doing cardio 5 days a week, you also need to train in the correct target zone. Jacking up your heart rate to anaerobic levels does not burn fat – too low is the same deal. You also need to train on an empty stomach and ultimately do resistance training to build muscle which increases your resting metabolism. There are no quick fixes for burning fat and weight loss just hard work and stop eating you bunch of lazy pigs!!!

so would you say that if someone has bulky calves, that they want to thin out, they should stay away from biking as cardio?

hey up there are levels on the bikes and things so should it be on max, min or medium, quater, 3 quater, et….
this should definately show my abs now, ive got about 1-2 cm of fat on my stomach so i can only show a bit of my upper 2 abs, and i got a tiny bit of fat on my pecs. after alot of cardio, my abs should show. im 14 by the way, and i only do u p to 3 kg so i am healthy and i do lots of reps, leading me to lean muscle and not bulky!!!

In order to get rid of body fat you have to do high cardio, If you just do crunches yours abs will still be hidden under a layer of fat.
Wow… 4 minutes to burn fat? Yes, that’s true, you can burn fat in 4 minutes. The only problem is it’s going to be a lame amount of fat! Jeez, what’s up with proper work outs that last 30 minutes.

How many calories will this burn? About 100 I recon. You’ll shave a few hundred grams of fat per week. Pointless idea. If you’re 20 kg over weight that’s 100 weeks to get down to weight if you do it 7 days a week.

There is no better way of abdominal fat loss than to eat balanced foods and a nutritious diet. Indulge yourself into activities that will allow you to sweat. Exercise regularly. This doesn’t have to be the gym, this could be cycling to work, taking the stairs instead of the lift, being on your feet all day as opposed to sat down. A cannot stress this point enough. A good friend on mine used to cycle to work everyday and be on his feet all day long, he ate crap all the time yet had a magnificent 6 pack with no gym and no diet.
